NYS-ESG Session 12 – Kishan Kumarsingh

Sustainability and climate change are inextricably linked. These two issues are perhaps the most challenging not only of our time but of the future as well. Climate change poses significant challenges to sustainable growth. As the global population continues to grow and economic activities expand to meet its needs, balancing development and environmental preservation becomes an even greater challenge.

The NYSESG Project had the honour of hosting Kishan Kumarsingh, Head of Multilateral Environmental Agreements at the Ministry of Planning and the Environment, for a presentation on sustainability and climate change. To say that Kishan’s presentation to the NYSESG participants was eye-opening would be an understatement. He skillfully blended multilateral agreement frameworks with scientific insights and real-world implications in a way that truly resonated with the participants.
