NYS-ESG Session 15 – Marcia Tinto
March 22, 2025“Running a project without a work breakdown structure is like going to a strange land without a road map.” – J. Phillips
Organizing and implementing projects can seem daunting, especially in the realm of sustainability, where potential projects can be vast in scope with widespread impacts. The NYSESG had the benefit of Jason Jack facilitating a session on Project Management, where he effectively communicated and delivered, in a simple yet profoundly clear manner, the tenets of Project Management as they relate to the planning, execution, and management of sustainable and ESG projects—and how these principles apply within the school ecosystem.
Jason’s delivery was not only practical and engaging but also incredibly timely, as schools transition into Phase 2 of the NYSESG, where they will begin the project design and planning phase for their respective initiatives.
Thank you, Jason, for answering the call to share your knowledge in a tangible way with our future—the youth!
